Medical Mission Ayaviri!
Who we are
We are a Catholic organization that recruits medical providers, nurses, and volunteers to execute yearly medical mission trips to Peru. We gather volunteers from the United States, Canda and Peru.
While we are a Catholic organization, we encourage people from every faith to join us in our mission to provide basic and loving medical care to the people of Ayaviri.
We partner with a group of Peruvian medical providers, dentists, physical therapist, optometrists, and volunteers from the Universidad San Pablo in Arequipa, Peru.
In Ayaviri, we work with a local nonprofit organization called Caritas Ayaviri. They facilitate everything prior to our arrival, during our stay, and closing down the mission site. They also extend our mission year around, taking care of different patient care needs that are discovered during our mission by helping our patients find follow-up care based on the diagnoses of our volunteer physician.
Our typical team is about 100 missionaries serving the people of Ayaviri throughout the week!
